0:00The term AI slop triggers a lot of people, right? I'm just going to say it. AI slop can make you tons of money. But, should you use it? It's a whole different story. And I think we need to define what AI slop truly is. In this video specifically, we're going to talk about how anyone can make $10,000 with AI now. We're going to talk about what AI slop is and what AI generated content is because there's a difference. We're going to go into specifics. We're going to talk about people's comments on this channel. This is the Rank X Fan Academy.
0:30I'll come back to this. But, anytime I have a video on YouTube that you watch and you comment, like this one is somewhat popular, right? 22,000 views. Very cool. Right on. Thank you for watching. There are people who come out of the woodwork, especially when I talk about scale, how to make a thousand websites. People freak out and they cry about, "This is AI slop. It's worthless.
0:50Google's going to ban your websites, this, that, and other." It's like, what is the difference between AI generated content and AI slop? And I want to make that distinction in this video before we go much further. So, AI generated is not AI slop. We're going to talk about how to make money, but let's talk about this. AI generated is a method, whereas AI slop is a quality failure. Back in the day when we we created local business websites, back in the day, how long ago is that? 2 years?
1:19We would hire people from around the world to be our copywriters, and you would pay per word. And oftentimes that content was slop. Sometimes you get it back and it just sucked. It's like It's like being in school and you do a paper and it sucks and you get a D. That's slop. I think the teacher would say that's slop. So, the difference is AI generated content is a method, right? A tool did the typing. So, what? That says nothing about whether the result is good. So, we have a methodology to ensure that our result, our microsite, our website, whatever we're building, is
1:52good. If you're going to cry about AI generated content always being AI slop because whatever reason, you're missing the boat. I'm telling you you're missing the boat. AI slop is a quality failure. So it can be thin, wrong, useless output that helps nobody. Now I have over a hundred different microsites and this is an example of one of them. This is not a real website. This is hosted locally on my machine. But what we do is basically we go after a specific service in an area. You can see this website's not half bad. Is it good? I'd give it probably a five or six out of ten right
2:22now. I'd probably give it a nine out of ten in terms of structure because it's structured well to rank on Google and that's what matters off the bat. Basically you build these websites, these microsites and you structure them so well with such a hyper intent that Google often has no choice but to rank them. Well, people come onto websites like this then you can sell the lead.
2:40This is old school rank and rent on steroids. And if you come over to the Rank Expander Academy you will see that we have modules here to teach you this but more importantly here's some wins from the community. If I click right here wins, first microsites so someone said first site is already showing up on the first page in a couple cities for a few terms and on the fourth page for bigger ones. I think that was their yeah their first website. Microsites already getting calls. Sites went live two weeks ago. Sites are getting calls very nice.
3:07Someone said best month so far 5,000 in commissions. Very nice. Then this one showing up six times on page one the AI overview names my website. It goes on and on and on. The idea here is that you do scale and this is where people freak out. They say oh it's AI slop because you're doing it scale. Listen, if it costs me 11 bucks per year for one website where it used to cost me a thousand plus dollars because I had to hire the people to write the content was like the most expensive thing. People to design the website if I was doing custom
3:36thousands at that point. If I can build something comparable now for 11 dollars a year, I'm going to build hundreds of them. But we're getting ahead of ourselves. Let's talk about this thing. So seven little sites one big paycheck. Let's say you have one rented site per month 1500 dollars times seven rented that's 10,000 dollars a month Basically, what I'm telling you here is if you have seven really good websites that rank on Google and pull in leads, you can sell those for a flat fee of $1,500. Think of a high-ticket niche that is always in demand, and when people Google it, they just need the
4:08service done. Typically, local business type of stuff. This right here is usually not the case. We need usually more websites, which is why I often talk about scale. So, someone said, "I'm a total beginner at this. How do you make money with these? Do you sell the clients off to contractors?" What you do is you rent the calls. This is one way to do it, at least. I think there's four basic ways. Not the websites, so you can rent the calls and not the sites, so you um you do not sell the website. You keep it, and you rent the phone calls it
4:36produces to a local contractor. So, that's the coolest part, in my opinion. You're building an asset that usually improves over time because Google's algorithm is just like that. So, members are leasing in bundling right now. So, use it to create a new business with the partner. So, this is someone in the community, I do believe. We found that leasing the sites is the best strategy for us. We also plan on building site bundles for contractors. So, what they're talking about here is instead of selling the leads for like a 100 bucks a pop or 150 a pop, they're selling bundles of websites, which I like this,
5:07and it's leasing, more or less, because you're not selling the websites, you're leasing them. You always retain the ownership. It's very important. And here we go. But, isn't this just AI slop? So, here's the objection that stops most people. Everyone has seen AI pump out garbage, and everyone assumes AI websites are junk that Google will bury. If that were true, this whole model would be dead on arrival. Why does it work? Maybe your assumption, maybe your theory is that Google's going to stamp this out one day, but the the the truth of the matter is our websites are better than most
5:35websites online right now. And and when people call our websites, someone actually answers the phone. The somebody happens to be an AI agent, and they answer 24/7, so you could argue that people are getting better customer service with our websites. But, people freak out because it's AI-generated content. Now, I like this comment here, "Isn't this how Google worked 20 years ago? Exact match domains, directories.
5:57Sounds like old SEO stuff." And I agree 100%. Heck yeah, it's old it's old school, but the only difference is we can do it so affordably and at scale that it just changes the game. And another question and objection I often hear is like, "How is there any opportunity anymore if you can do this?" If you take every service available times every location available, you're left with this incredible amount of opportunity. That's why this works because everyone's intent queries, their query intent, like if I type in, "I need an emergency plumber near me." Right?
6:30That's near me in my location, but you have so many locations in the country. And that's just one service. That's how this works. And yeah, it's totally old school. All right, so here we go. But, you and each of your students are building thousands of microsites taking over all industries all competing against each other. Like I was just saying, there's far more demand than you think. Every niche times every location, thousands of services, thousands of towns and cities, huge and barely touched. For the first time ever in history, there is going to be this creation of a lot of websites. And
7:00that's why Google did change things during the helpful content update because there is tons of AI content. They had to do something. But, local SEO, what we talk about with microsites, is largely protected. For some reason, the algorithm is not as strict, I guess you could say. And local business is where it's at, old school ranking right. The path from zero to first check. So, if you don't know how to make money, here it is. Pick a niche and an area. I'll show you a tool in a second that we use for this. AI builds the site. I use Cloud, or excuse me,
7:31Clawed Code, and then it ranks or it doesn't rank. And sometimes, guess what? Their websites don't rank. Tough luck, it cost you 11 bucks. You're not heartbroken, I'm not heartbroken. Build more. Right? Often, the answer is in our community build more. Um then we have hand-free leads. It's a beautiful thing to wake up in the morning and look at your email on your other computer and see leads coming in every day. And you've built the website over a year ago and leads are still showing up. It's crazy. And then you just lease it. Now originally in the community we had a very, I would say,
8:02set path on how to create these in the classroom. So if you come over to the microsite playbook and we have the microsite empire and the playbook we had a very set path but then we realized quickly that Claude code is going to evolve, it's going to be better and better, right? So what we did is, and I like this. This is my favorite right here. So you come down here to the microsite empire, you come to the microsite blueprint for Claude code in this zip file, microsite blueprint for code zip file, is basically the brain of the operation that we use for all of our
8:29tools, all of our creation. We consolidated it into this zip file. And all you have to do is take that zip and give it the Claude or Codex and man, you are off to the races. And the whole reason we did that, right, is because we found that some people like to use Replit, some people like to use Lovable, some people, you know, it's just one path for every situation was not the way nowadays because once you get accustomed to a particular LLM or stack, you you don't it's just too difficult to give you like a very defined way to do
9:00this. The way to do it, right, is to give you the option of a defined path but then give you the brain and then you can just upload, download this thing and then upload it to whatever brain you use. In my case it's Claude code and then you're good. And this here is something we should talk about. This is the one-click builder. This is different than the brain zip file I was describing. So if you're a newbie, this is how you can probably get your feet wet the easiest. You have business services, towns, content, photos, launch over here. You can get a live preview
9:28over here. It's very, very simple. You you kind of get the feel and the taste of how this works and then you realize, "Ooh, it's very easy." You start asking questions and then you can build it even faster. Every week in the community, and by the way, the community right here is 7-day free trial. So, you have nothing to lose. There's almost 600 people in here right now. Tons of people, tons of conversation. Everything you're seeing on the screen is comments from the last 10 hours, 11 hours. I mean, the first whole page is comments. There's 33 people online right now. But, I want to
9:55show you this right here because I think it will strike a chord for this video. Where the heck is it? It's one of my posts. Let's see if I can find it. All right, this is it. So, every week what we have are weekly community calls where people talk and we talk just like we're talking now, right? And we also just go through the community and kind of figure out what people are asking and doing.
10:14And we condense them into questions and answers, right? There's 20-some here. And what I found is the people who are most successful with this, they do two things. They go scale. They scale, period. They just scale. The people who are not successful are the ones who do one website and just are like, all right, that was cool. And that's fine. You can probably do that within your 7-day free trial and like bounce.
10:37Cool. But, the people who are most successful, they scale. That was the biggest commonality. And they also do this. This is a little thing I've been seeing. So, people do the Upwork playbook, which is a totally different tactic than what I'm talking about here. There's tons to learn here, by the way. Like, there's tons of stuff. But, the Upwork playbook is the fastest way to cash flow. And then alongside that, they build microsites. So, they do two things at once. They service others with their SEO and AI needs. They make cash flow, cash flow, cash flow. And then they're building microsites at scale.
