0:00It's like a gold rush right now microsites, right? You probably heard of the term. Let's talk about it. How the heck do microsites work? How do you build them? How do you make money with them? This is a microsite right here. I'm going to blow it up. Custom pool builders in Orlando, Florida, right? I built this on the channel with you. It's a flat HTML website. Excellent. 15 minutes of our time to build this. This is why it's so crazy. They cost minimal.

0:21They cost minimal time and money, right? To build something of this quality. Absolutely crazy. So, let's talk about it. My name is Jesse Cunningham if we haven't met. I run this community right here, the Rank Expand Academy. Tons of resources. It's like a think tank and a resource center and a community all wrapped in one. I make six figures a month using different AI tactics and this whole video is going to be based around how does a microsite work? So, if we're going to do that, you know, we could go over, you know, some wins here.

0:50We could do this, that, and another, but to begin, let's just talk about it, right? Let's just imagine it's like 11:00 at night in Dallas. Let's just pick a city. 11:00 at night, you wake up. You're in Dallas, Texas. You live in Dallas. And there's sewage coming through your shower drain. And it sucks. Right? And and you're like barefoot in the hallway with a phone in your hand and there's sewage backup in your house.

1:13You're like, man, this is like the worst ever. And you're not going to be comparing brands when you pull up your phone or looking at reviews. You're not going to be sleeping on this issue. You have to solve it right now. And you're going to type in five words into Google and it's going to be something like sewer line replacement in Dallas. It's that simple. That's how this works.

1:34Right? And whoever owns the answer to those five words on Google owns the next like $8,000 of that man's situation. Right? And everything after that right there is just detail of how microsites work. Right? A microsite is a small website that answers one question in one city and it does nothing else. That's what it does, but it does it very well. But, the whole concept is here someone types something into Google, they have a need, and we're going to help them with that need, and we're going to make money in the process. Now, you probably heard of the term rank and rent. And if you

2:09haven't, that's what we're describing here. But, the difference is this is AI rank and rent via microsites. A microsite is a well-optimized website that we can build at scale for minimal cost. And minimal cost is legit. We can talk about that. It is crazy. Now, some people say this is doesn't work. This is 2005 tactics, blah blah blah blah blah. That's cool, and I'm happy people say that, and I'm happy people don't like this tactic. Some of them really don't like it. There's the camp that are just AI haters that just don't like AI, that it exists.

2:39That's cool. I get it. That's kind of akin to being like someone at the turn of the century, industrial revolution, you're still into your horses, driving around town in your horse, right when cars are here. Henry Ford wins in the end. AI is going to win, right? And then there's other people who just don't like the SEO tactic in general and just don't believe it works. That's okay, because I want people in this community to be the winners. Like like have everyone else do the different things that don't work, and let's do simple things. So, if you want to do this, right? This right here

3:09is the key, in my opinion, is the key. This is a zip file microsite blueprint for Quad. This is going to tell your LLMs, which is exactly how we built this one right here, what to do. So, to keep it simple, let's just get the basics down. A microsite is a small website that answers one question in one city and does nothing else. And the nothing else is the whole stinking point here, right? It's not a company not pick any niche. Let's pretend a plumbing company for a scenario. It's not a plumbing company site with like 20 services and a

3:38blog. Think of it, 20 services and a blog of just nonsense. How many times have I seen websites, local business websites with blogs nowadays? It drives me crazy. If you are hiring an SEO agency, let's say you're a business owner, and you're hiring an agency to do blogs for you as part of your deliverable, I don't think it's worth it anymore. I think there's bigger fish to fry. Right?

4:00So, the website, it's one service typically in one city across 40 or 50 pages. That's the focus, right? All pointing towards the same thing. And Google, we have to remember, is a machine that guesses with math, ones and zeros, what a website what a page is about. So, a site a website about everything is pretty much a site about nothing. I've seen this so many times.

4:25You can look at Google Search Console and see how confused Google can get, especially when a website is new and volume is low. It gets super confused, right? A site where like every page and every link and every sentence is about a specific thing, in our scenario, let's pretend it's about replacing sewer lines in Dallas, right? Google is like, "That's easy. It's the easiest guess it's going to make all day." And it rewards easy guesses. This is how we rank. So, we're going to build the thing with the zip file. We're going to have a home page.

4:58We're going to have a page for one service, a page for each town around the city. So, there's going to be like 20 or 30 of these that constitutes the majority of the website because a person in Plano, Texas, is not going to do the same queries, the same things. They're not going to same type the same things into Google as the guy in Dallas, Texas.

5:18Right? That's the whole point. That's why we have those different pages. Then we're going to have pages about the cost of the service, and then we're going to have pages about the exact questions people type at 11:00 at night or whenever the issue arises when they have a particular need for our service. And then, here's the interesting part. You wait. Right? You wait. You wait weeks, and the site is going to sit there, and it's going to do absolutely nothing because that's how it goes. It's kind of like planting a tree and then you forgot to look at it and then every morning it

5:51kind of looks the same and most people quit right there. They just give up, right? And that's the best news to me because people who quit, they were your competition. This is a gold rush and it's a competition. Google has always been a competition. I'm happy to see when people give up on a thing because it doesn't happen as fast as they expect it because one day the phone rings right on your website and and the ring is worth way more than people realize. Think about it, right?

6:21You think about the person our pretend person in the hallway whose shower is backing up late at night. He's a buyer ready to buy this darn thing and the buy the thing he's about to purchase is going to cost between like $4,000 and $18,000 for something crazy like a sewer line backup, right? The contractor who answers and shows up and does the work keeps a few thousand dollars of it.

6:43That's how this whole capitalism thing works, right? That's how the internet works. That's how contractors work. He's going to come out. He's going to make a couple grand. Typically the gross profit is around 30%, right? So, if you can produce the leads for that person, what is that worth it what is that worth to them? It's not $5, it's not $50. Contractors in these trades will pay hundreds of dollars for one call from the person standing at their issue at 11:00 at night and they need help. Why? Because you have The way we build it allows for buyers, people who are ready to purchase a thing, a

7:17service, to call these websites. When you take a closer look, custom pool builders, that's what someone's going to type in. You're going after EMDs, exact match domains, exact match searches. Keep it simple. This is not rocket science, right? Custom pool builders in here. Like it's very obvious what we do with this website. We're targeting people who are interested in custom pools in Orlando, Florida. Maybe we can spice it up. You can see here with a couple more services, but at the basis, a good microsite. And people used to do this with a landing page. Now we're doing it because we have AI with 50

7:52pages, right? This This is the homepage of one, but we can fib a little bit and have like four or five or six different services that go after different queries, but the idea is you go after very specific terms, right? Now, we should talk about the money aspect here. We shouldn't rush through this. Right, because this is This is like the good part. So, your your site, your microsite, the has like one boring service. Custom pools is kind of cool, but like sewer line backup is kind of a boring service, a messy service, right? And it focuses one single city, and it produces, let's

8:26say, nine calls in a month. And nine for most metrics in SEO is not a impressive number. Like, we want thousands, tens of thousands of visitors and visitors and visitors. But all we care about, we don't even hook up to Google Search Console because all we care about are leads, right? Because to a contractor, nine nine calls handed to a contractor, right? Who can close three of them, let's say, $8,000 a job, that's What is the math there? Twenty something thousand dollars of work that that was given to him out of nowhere, right? And all we had to do was build a

9:05website, be a little bit patient, and build a relationship with the contractor who's good, who can service the work. Now, sometimes people at this point in the video or concept they get upset with the idea because I don't think they've ever thought about HomeAdvisor or Angie's List or Redfin or Zillow or these type of websites that are lead providers. That's what these websites do. Think of Google. That's what Google is, too. It's a middleman lead provider.

9:29There's nothing new here. All we are doing is micro lead providing to very specific niches to specific contractors, right? If this was my website, which is is locally built by the way, this is not indexed on Google. We built it locally. I would locate a custom pool builder in Orlando, Florida, right? They are going to have a crew of three to 10 people probably and they have all the tools to build these web not websites, to build these pools like these beautiful pools and they have concrete trucks coming out and they have backhoes, they have this and that and another and all I have is a

10:03keyboard and and a good internet connection and a decent to laptop, not even a decent laptop, right? That's why I like this value proposition for for you, for people who know how to build websites. It it's out there, right? There's it's out there. You just have to get out there and then number one, build, right? You build, you wait, you're patient and then you build the relationships with the contractors that you can give the lead to. How do you make money? There's like four ways I guess you can make money. The flat fee, so you get a lead for a custom pool

10:36builder and you're like, "Hey Bob." Let's pretend Bob is the business owner. I have a lead. I'm going to sell it to you for $150. I'm not going to sell it to anyone else." To Bob, that's a great deal. Why? Because he's accustomed to Angie's List, which resells that lead 100 different times, non-exclusive leads. If you've ever been in the industry, you would know. And exclusive leads to Bob, he's stoked. For $150, are you kidding me? That's great.

10:59Another way would be you rent this website out to him. You say, "Look, you can get as many leads as you can off this website. Whatever it produces, it produces and you're going to get it, man." And you and you rent it out for a thousand bucks a month or $500 a month. Mind you, the cost for me to build a website like that is is just the domain cost at this point. So, for me to build a microsite costs $11 and some change right now because we build it in a flat HTML way and it's very easy. Non-techy people can do this. Many people have

11:31come into the community and done this that are non-techy, right? You can do this. But the third way, what is the third way? It's rev share, which is my favorite way. The fourth way is interesting, but the third way to make money with this is rev share. So, in this instance, someone calls and they want a pool and they look at the pictures. They're like, "Man, I like that pool right there. Looks like my house. I want an inground pool with this this pad around it with some custom waterfalls." And the pool costs, I don't know, $150,000, right? Let's pretend.

11:59And you get a percentage off that. Let's say 5% off of the gross. You can do the math, couple thousand bucks. And then the fourth way you can make money with this is you actually run the leads. Now, depends on the the licensure requirements, but so I I mean, I've seen this a few times with people who are in the trades or were in the trades and they'd go out to the client and they would work the client, help them, and they would source the contractor, and they would command a higher price. It's more of a pain in the butt. So,

12:29depending upon how hands-on or hands-off you want to be, you can make a money tons of different ways. Now, there's a lot in the academy, right? There's a lot of modules here, a lot of stuff. We have weekly calls. You can go back into each of the calls. Here's the call vault. I mean, look, there's there's we've been doing this over a year, right? There's there's I mean, what, 50-plus hours of calls in here you can watch and there's different modules. You can learn about the microsites directly from the microsite empire and the playbook. But there's a 7-day free trial. This place

12:59is a resource, a think tank, a community all rolled into one. We have a private call once a month. We have contests. I don't think I've talked about this before. Look here, I'll zoom in. We do fun contests like this. We're we're testing this out and there's been 81 comments on here. This is going to be wild. I don't know how we're going to run it. Um it's going to be pretty interesting. We're going to have one query. So, it's going to be like that idea of sewer line replacement in Dallas. Whoever can rank the highest for that type of term, there's going to be a

13:29bounty. It's going to be fun. But the idea is, if you want to make money online, microsites is one way to do it. Does it always work? No. Like you're going to build a website, your first couple probably aren't going to work out. And even when you know what you're doing, they don't all work out. But the cool part is, the cool the coolest part is that it costs $11 and some change to build that website.

13:53Which is a crazy crazy small amount compared to how we used to build websites. I mean, my goodness, so different, right? But hopefully this was helpful. Hopefully this explains what a microsite is and how you can make money with it. And yeah, I hope to see you in the community.
